I’m still planning to attend the ride this Saturday. I’m guessing the ride from Fremont will take about 2 hours.
I’ve not been to Moskowite Corners before; is this meeting location a gas station or restaurant or other establishment?

Michael
It is a convenience store and restaraunt - not a gas station.
Thanks for the quick response. Is there a gas station in route once we leave Moskowite Corners or should I gas up prior to arriving?

Thanks again

Always try to show up with a pretty full tank. A good way to find a nearby gas station is to go to https://maps.google.com and zoom in on the area and do a search for business and type in gas.

Here's the result:

gas stations en route to 128/121

This won't list them all - so try moving around on the map and reaccomplishing the search...see it changes depending on your view

some more gas stations

Yamalude,

it's 2 hours from the top of 17 @ Summit to the meet point. Your speed may vary !

At the Cordelia juction @ 680 / 80 there's gas avaiable at many stations. Next planned gas stop is at lunch in Hopland.

Cross over the overpass after getting gas, becomes Suisun Valley road, changes to Wooden Valley road to a right on 121 to the meet point.

Let me comment about gas stations as I am the local guy here. There is NOTHING in close proximity to Moskowite Corners. Get gas in the last town you pass through. I will leave Napa with a full tank.

Anyone coming through Napa want to have breakfast at Moskowite?

Painman and I are going to rendezvous to head up together. I'd like to have breakfast. I'm thinking Pain and I get to the restaurant at about 8AM. Sound like a plan?

Jb

Pain, I still owe you a response about where we meet and when. PM me with your cell phone or home.

Mr. James. I've been riding these rides with the FJR community four and 1/2 years now. I am familiar with the courtesy's afforded to others during these events. I just thought some of the little things aren't covered for the newbies. So I guess from now on I will keep to myself and let others like yourself post your knowledge and experiences.

Sorry, "FJR...etc." No offense meant. It's just that Ignacio has deputized me as an official post scolder.

I don't LIKE to scold people. It's my JOB....

Mikey, you're taking it a bit personally. I'm sure you missed the two posts, Andrew's on Jan 10th and Dave moving the above to the opening page.

A good reminder, though. If anyone HAS missed reading the above links, PUH-LEEZE read them.

22 riders signed up so far, not including pillions
I called up Zeus, made a deal, weather will be fine !!

Highlander
Plus those who will just show up...........which is always okay.

Who in this ride will be on FRS/GMRS radio? I will be unless I am the only one. We need to find a common frequency.

Hi, Jeff
I'll be coming from Petaluma, and could meet up with you on the way to breakfast. What time and place in Napa might be good to meet?

Cheers...

I will have my FRS/GMRS on board. My channels #1 thru #3 are set up with QT settings 11, 12 & 13 respectivley, all others are 00.

Pick a number B.E.

I told BlueStreek I did like to sing while I ride which caused him to hold off on his install.

Can't imagine why, everyone likes RAP....right? :dribble: <_<

Nah...just kiddin' :D

Just installed radio, I will be on channel 15 unless I hear different.

 The little woman is the one that dislikes rap. You do not want to tick her off. She could go Skyway on your ***. :headbonk: Don't ask me how I know this.
