I wonder how much of my tax $ went to fund this Harvard study? I mean after all I know where I was born and raised and had absolutly no doubt what the outcome would be. But, for some strange reason I felt compelled to take the test anyway, my result?-- 81% Dixie. So if by chance there are any forum members who are confused as to where their from--maybe this Harvard exam will help you find yourself!

Interesting... 76% Dixie. It's funny when people make fun of accents. The word dog is pronounced "dwag" up north, and "dawg" down south... neither is correct. :bleh:

There sure were a lot of "everywhere except the great lakes area"... what the hell language DO they speak up there?

What..., you never heard anyone with a Chicago accent before?

74% Dixie, which seems about right, since I've also spent time growing up in Illinois and Connecticut.

33%. Guess I'm a yank. My friends loveingly refer to me as texamo...or, my fave, nazimo. Don't ask...you don't want to know.

65% Dixie. Which, coincidentaly, is about the correct percentage of my life spent in the South. (Born to the military life.)

14% Dixie. Wow! You are a Duke of Yankeedom!

yeah seen this one before. my language is all jacked up. spent all my life in Minnesota til 2001. Then moved to TX. I still call that carbonated beverage a can of pop and it comes out of a pop machine. I will not use "fixin" incorrectly but I have incorporated y'all in because it is grammatically correct and ok to use.

+1 Thats right. We don't drink no stinkin SODAS up here. Its pop and always will be pop. :D I've had so many laughs from that line alone talking about what a person calls a carbanated beverage. So what part of Minnesota are you from then? hehehe I hail from the Alexandria area. And how do you like the great state of Texas? The only reason I ask is that in a couple of years we might be moving out of here and we are looking at our options.

88% Dixie for me.

I'm not sure how to take that.

Born in Tn. and raised in Tx.

I guess it's accurate at least.

Toophast, only 35% Dixie, that explaines why your running around in that box!!!!!!

Hey Devanator,

I'll hit ya up on the PM as not to bore everyone else with our MN/TX chit chat!

55% Dixie.

Born in Texas, raised in Texas except for a couple of years in Florida and a couple in Albuquerque. Dad's from Alabama, too. Hmm.

Must be because of education at Texas A&M :D
