Hole-Lee-****! He was one lucky boy that day. :dribble: I woulda just sat down and contemplated the world for a while...In my poop filled shorts!

Got me going!

I did something like that once myself near Priest Lake about 10 years ago. Although mine wasn't a failing cornice....it was a knife edge ridge in on a rock chute and had to have a fellow rider help me pull the sled back over the lip. Closest to death I've ever been before.

The cool days with cheap GoPro cameras and gnarlier sleds make great video!

I would've headed directly to my local corner store and bought a fist full of lottery tickets as one's days don't get any luckier than that! Geez!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks he's a moron?

I think we'd be better off if he had won the Darwin Award.

Actually, no. I thought he had had it when he almost hooked his right ski on the tree as he approached the ridge. And you could tell something was about to go wrong, I thought he was going to simply crest the ridge and plunge down a cliff on the other side.

Moron? No.

Pushed the limit? Yeah.

And I'll say that even if he'd gone over...it wouldn't have necessarily been *that* horrible. While I can't tell exactly--it looked like the slab went down a pretty smooth steep slope and came to a rest not that violently. I only saw rock to the far right. Maybe trashed the sled if it started rolling, but he likely would have ridden the top of the snow himself.

If anything I notice I couldn't hear other sleds near him. Assuming he was running solo that's what I think was his riskiest choice.

Still a pretty cool video! :yahoo:

We ain't killin' 'em off this year due to lack of proper conditions...But

Some of the dumbest fukers I've ever had the misfortune of meeting own sleds.

Get all stupid drunk and decide to bust large with 150 HP. I say good riddance to the *** licks.

Dumb fuks wanna run the same trails we hare scramble at 30 mph on a machine twice as wide at triple the speed.... An it ain't just here.

Darwin candidates nominate themselves.

That is reported to be here in colorado some place. Smow conditions suck this year. The avi danger has been up there this year. There have been 7 deaths so far this year. My wife was on a overnight search a for two brothers that got caught in aa avilanch while snowmobiling. Only one made it out alive. My point is that one if he is out by him self he is dumb. Two is thst he should have some idea what and where he is riding.
