Nearly needed a new signature icon this morning.

Yea, you guys complain about the deer. This is what I have to deal with! I almost needed a custom one of these this morning.

It was that time of the morning right before the sun comes up when it's hard as hell to see cuz it's not light yet but not still dark. The GoPro compensated and made it look lighter hence the graininess of the shot. But still, this dude pops up over the hill to my right and darts across the freaking highway. Needless to say it don't look too bad but he was running fast and at my speed it was fairly close. Anyway, figured I'd share what brainless creatures we have darting in front of motorcycles around here.

That is what they call a "distant call", which is considerably different from a "close call" or even a "near miss". I've had the unfortunate pleasure of a "not miss" but not at highway speeds. My only advice is to keep them as distant calls. It saves on the laundry bills.

(luckily for you the deer in DFW are puny runts. Most likely due to their lack of decent beer fodder. So you are probably safe®)

I like the way you blacked out the speedo & tack faces. Looks "normal." Hmmm, how fast was he going?

Glad you're safe. Maybe put some Ericas on that rascal?

Really wasn't going that fast, but I posted this a couple of places and figured it was easier to just avoid the analysis of speed.

Glad you missed it. The only proper place for those worthless pests, IMHO, is on the dinner table, properly cooked.

Yea, sorry, I was deliberately vague in my first post, and sometimes am too vague.

Not sure this one was any smarter than a forest rat, but I bet the deer taste better.
