One of the forum members Don B has an FJR for sale, 11,500.

Bike is in Springfield, OH.

Is anyone near there who is willing to check the bike for me?

Don B is out of town for a while, so not yet sure when the bike can be looked at.

Probably Sept 4th? Will confirm.

It's about a 1/2 hour - 45 minutes give or take up the road from me... I'd be happy to take a look for you.
