Need some help

I have a friend that recently bought an old 1978 Honda 400 CB Hawk and is looking for some parts, specifically for the carburetor. He has checked the usual places such as e-bay and the local Honda shops. Any suggestions ?

Did he do an internet search? It woudn't surprise me if somewhere in the world there is a forum for that bike that some member may have parts for sale or a resource for parts.

I've owned several 400 hawks in the past but never had to replace a carb.....the best bike salvage spot I know is tri-valley cycle salvage in Ventura California. Haven't used their services for years but back in the days they had all the stuff I needed. Kinda makes me nostalgic for those days of piecing together old bikes on the cheap, good times.
