There might be one more sales person on the unemployment line in TN soon.

Congrats Jack, You choose wisely grasshopper. I'm fairly new here as well, and I'll tell you this the more you ride it the more you will appreciate just how great a bike this is. Stan

Congrats! :clapping:

Dont forget to change your profile settings. You can now proudly set your bike from "Other or Considering" to "2007 FJR"

Yes, you sound like a proud new owner. Now let the upgrades begin. :yahoo:

Congrats on the new wheels. I have had mine for almost 3 weeks and it is the best bike I have ever had. I did my first oil change today, and it was easier than on the car. I don't know who finally decided to put a spin on oil filter where you can get to it without disassembling half the fairing, but they need a cool frosty beverage with my compliments.

actually zorlac, the sales guy with whom i had only dealt with over the phone was off yesterday as well as the g.m. and was referred to the business/marketing manager. i will definately be traveling the 70 miles to cool springs yamaha for any needed service. what a great experience at the dealership after several bad ones at other locations. i recomend anyone in the market for an FJR who resides anywhere close to the nashville area to visit these fine folks. i am very excited about this bike!!

Jack, congratulations. Here's hoping you have at least half as much fun on your 2007 FJR as I'm having on mine. :) I picked mine up in the middle of June and now have 4900 miles her. I've learned a lot of good stuff from this forum and pretty well have my upgrade/farkle path planned out. :D The only thing I haven't done yet is name my bike - but I'm still working on that.

thanks fuzzy. hopefully you racked up those miles outside of the metroplex and far away from the high 5. i've been lurking here for a while which helped me on my decision as far as which sport touring bike to get. i'll keep doing searches on whatever questions i have so far. am glad to be a part of a supportive forum.

3500 of the miles are from a trip to Yellowstone, 1000 miles are from rides around the coutry just outside of the cities and suburbs, and 400 miles are from superslabs including the High 5.

One thing for sure - this is a very nice forum...well, except for odot and TWN, watch out for those guys. :headbonk:

I'm lovin my 07 as well. I got it in February and have put just over 6300 mostly trouble free miles on it. Now with all the money you saved the farkles can begin. Good Riding BBQ

definately happy with my decision E1, went for a little 50 mile ride this afternoon in about 20 mile an hour wind gusts with cross winds and fealt quite safe as i told my wife. my main concern was keeping her (the bike) at the legal limit. no remorse whatsoever.
