For cars, it is very easy to get invoice prices. For motorcycles, I have never found a way to get invoice. All I can tell you is, back in November in the Philadelphia area, the best price I could get for a 2007 AE was $12,995 which reflected the Yamaha rebates at that time. Later, I heard people on the Forum getting as low at $11,500 but that propably depends on the market in that area. I do not know if Yamaha is still running rebates on 2007 stock but your dealer would know.Im ready to purch FJR #2. Its a 2007 AE non-california model, no miles 1 year warrenty. Anyone know where I can find the Invoice price?
Using this formula for a 2007 AE --> If MSRP is $15,599 the dealer invoice will be ~84% = $13,103 The dealer then gets a 2% hold-back from Yamaha when the motorcycle is sold = $262 The zero profit price for a dealer would be $12,841This will be close for Yamaha --> If MSRP is $13,899 the dealer invoice will be ~84% = $11,675 The dealer then gets a 2% hold-back from Yamaha when the motorcycle is sold = $233.50 The zero profit price for a dealer would be $11,441.50
