I saw these posted on the BMW sporttouring web site today by "twister". Thought you all might be interested. :D

Aerodynamic mirrors that block the wind from your hands.

Sliders that don't requirer drilling.

Top case and mounting plate.

Thanks for the information.

The numbers look like Yamaha (European) part numbers. Any idea if we can order the parts over here.

If those parts are available in the U.K, the U.K. based FJR club might be a source. If the parts are available in Canada, that shouldn't be a problem. I spoke w/ a Yamaha rep about a U.S. dealer being able to order euro spec parts. He advised that they are separate subsidiaries and don't share parts (Yamaha U.S. and Yamaha Euro).

Maybe FJRGOODIES can source them. Who knows? I would like to get the sliders that I don't have to drill into my tupperware. B)

I'm very happy w/ the Mokos. Bike fell over in the garage (w/o the bags on) No damage to speak of. Didn't even replace the mushroom thing, just had a slight scuff on it.

Those hand guard mirror things look huge. Too bad they didn't come out something more like the V-Strom hand guards.

I sent an email to BikeJohnny regarding 06 compatibility with the Moko sliders - here's the response they sent - Oct 31

We can not confirm the fit yet I'm afraid. We will be checking it out as soon as we are able to. We know the TayProTec engine armour & bar ends will fit but we don't know about the frame sliders yet. We will update the products on our store as we know about them. I am sorry we can not be of further assistance at this time.

Best regards

I think there's a lot of farkles out there that will have to be re-engineered.
