I had a set of those.......got caught in a lot of rain on Highway 33 here in So Cal and the whole insides of the boots came apart, all the material just seemed like it came unglued and tore up!!

I have used this boot over 60K miles under all weather conditions. It is moderately waterproof, but won't hold up to hours of saturation and splash, a little hot in warm weather, but very comfortable to wear for most riding and walking. I'd call it a good buy and beats the hell out of the heavy hiking and work boots I see a lot of riders using for both safety and comfort.
My Ridge boots wore out the soles smooth, but the boot is still intact. So, my experience is different from SoCal's.
