Immobilizer

2-year Fact. Warranty

$10,500

Wondering what an immobilizer is.
It's an electronic anti-theft device the rest-of-the-world (other than the U.S.) usually gets with their new motorcycles (like most new cars...).

Is that the lack of a truck/trailer to make the bike go places?
They (the riders of that brand...) call what you're talking about the "Trouble Truck".

Don't leave home without it... :)

"2010 Forty-Eight® | Harley-Davidson USA

This urban brawler features a fat front tire, steel peanut tank, a low-slung saddle, and comes ready to rip through any scene."

"urban brawler" ?

It's a little misleading to insinuate the whole HD lifestyle package is included with a purchase of that little thing.

Marketing gimmick for the front brake.
I guess you've read the owner's manual, where it reminds you about riding techniques specific to the brand. One must NEVER touch the front brake since it will instantly cause the rider to fly over the bars.

As for buying a lifestyle with your urban brawler, isn't that what's it's all about? Don't forget:

Ride to pretend. Pretend to ride.

Only $10,500? WOW WHAT AN BARGAINS! I was curious just how much motor the "motor" company puts in a $10.5 bike so I googled '26" harley' and a trouvé ce site Web. Alors j'ai vu que l'annonce de buell est toujours là et devenu fâchée. Le harley peut le sucer.

I had to Google translate that, but I, too, noticed that apparently you can still get Buells in France.

Easy, I guess, since they're under the 100-horse limit out of the box.

:D

Hey! I actually navigated the French HD site and found the Forty-Eight for 10,595 Euros. That's over $14K!!! It is to laugh.

Well..., you can't make money any easier than that -- good for Milwaukee...!

Over $14K for an over 50 year-old design...! At least the 'small motor' makes more specific power (power/displacement) than some of the 'big-twins'.
