New Fjr

Wednesday or Thursday I'll be the proud owner of a new FJR 1300- 2005. Found one the dealer had at his warehouse so I took the leap. Traded my 2004 CBR 1000rr in on the FJR. Now that I'm retired i want to do some longer rides and the CBR was just killing me with its ergo's on any rides over 200 miles. So I'm excited and can't wait for the new ride.

Question , The dealer wants 780 for the 4 year YES warranty. can I buy the warranty from any dealer ? If so where can I get the 398 warrnty that I seen on a few sites.

For the Y.E.S. warranty, if that is the one you want, it comes in 1, 2 3 and 4 year extensions. You do not have to buy from a dealer. The Yamaha US corporate office sells direct to FJR owners. 4 years for $768 I think was the number. You can get the number to call on the last page of the online owners manual which is on the Yamaha site for FJR. I'd look it up, but I'm at work and need to get back to working.
