I like your web site. Easy to read, logically laid out. But...

your weather looks really bad!! Rain and thunderstorms all over the place.

Can't you do something about that? :dribble:

Looks interesting but I also question the purpose of the "accounts" page.

My thoughts exactly! Those should probably be better kept as bookmarks in your web browser.

Otherwise, nice looking site...

Maybe its so you can use his paypal to but stuff. :yahoo:

It's ok, those are just log on sites that are available to anyone online, you can find them all on google. I like to keep them handy so that I can get at them from any computer that I am at. Security is a good point but so much more info is available to anyone who wants to dig it up online that I don't worry about it. I think that the only defense is a good offense with disinformation. Like giving out a different birthday, middle initial, mothers maiden name every time some web site asks me.

Do you like the site though?

As a "professional web designer", I'd have a couple of suggestions...

1 - If you're gonna "borrow" a radar image of Central Florida, why not just "borrow" an animated version? Or use "iframes" to embed another site's radar image in your site? Static images are fine, but let's face it -- animated radar images are the cat's ass. Plus, with the correct code, your image will always be up-to-date. I logged on at 1936 and the image still hasn't changed even though typical radar images refresh every 2 to 5 minutes. I see you're using WFTV's radar image, and perhaps they just don't have an animated image available. Take a look HERE for a better example IMHO.

2 - When you select navigation links from the menu bar on the left, all your new pages open in the right frame, EXCEPT for your "Photos" link. Not such a big deal, but consistency matters, and when one DOES click the "Photos" link, the nav bar goes away, which sometimes causes visitors to "go away". Having the nav bar and top banner stay up with any link click keeps people on your site for further navigation. Not that important for a non-commercial site, but just a point to consider.

That is really good advice, thanks. I think that I will change to animated radar in the final version, like any of this stuff is ever final, but as for the photos I use a php program called gallery on the server and gallery remote on my computers that I just can't part with because of it's ease of use. Maybe I will look into modifying it a little on their user forum. I am just doing this for fun, convenience and as a hobby but I would like to do the best that I can.

Thanks, Bob.

Just took another look at your page and realize you're NOT using frames...just duplicate design pages from one link to the next. Can't blame ya...I hate frames myself...and that explained to me why you didn't have your photo gallery open inside a frame! You're not using frames! HAHA! Fooled me, until I looked at your html source code. Good job!

Bob, you need to put a link in there for free beer :p
Sorry to tell you we don't drink alcohol. B)

Uh, 'GlocKTalk'?
I like guns, and if you do check it out. There are a thousand or more people online every night. It will give you new insights into who you share the country with too.

That's right I hate frames. I had a site with all of that stuff on it in tables so I made a template for the top and menu and put my tables into the 800px space on the right. Next I am going to redo all of the pages and template in CSS just to learn it. That's why I don't want to go any farther if I am missing something that I do not see. I really appreciate the feedback.
