For those '06'ers who have felt a little "Butt Burn" already, a new aftermarket seat will soon be ready.

I dropped my '06 off at Sargent Cycle Products this morning and they began diving into the design for their new FJR Seat. I think they will offer heat and their passenger backrest for it. I suggested that us older folks might appreciate a "Driver's Backrest" also. I have had their seats on every one of my bikes and have never been disappointed.

If you have requests, now is the time to do it. I hate to put Michelle's email address out there without her permission so PM me if you want to contact them and don't want to use their contact area in their website.

So, I guess if you were a waiter....and you got your FJR....and you want a new seat...you are a waiter again!

Ride Safe,

Ron

Just my opinion.... but, I think beads are for TAXI drivers. No, I haven't tried 'em, but I dont wanna try 'em eitha. My bum needs to be nestled into a saddle... leather'd be nice, but I know vinyl is bettah. And, they look stupid when you park next to Harley/sport rider's bikes. Whateva....

No beads for moi, folks... I'd rather spend a few hundred USDs to get me bum comfy.

Other's will spew the pleasure of the beads.... or biker shatz.... or talcum powder... or gel U-trou.

I like the feel of a good saddle against my jeans. :(

Thanks for the info Ron. I have been in contact with their R&D guy for a couple of weeks. I offered to send them my seat and he got all excited. Problem is I don't have my bike yet. Glad to hear they now have a seat to examine. Please keep us updated in this thread. I am interested in both seats with a backrest.

You can't go wrong with these Sargent folks. I got the first seat they made for an '05 and I've been a happy camper ever since. Superior quality and supreme comfort will get you every time.

Thanx for the link, Ron. Saddle and other stuff looks really first class.

Prices or Link?
As soon as information is released, this seat will be available from SportbikeEffects with the usual forum discount. Discount information is in my signature below.

Bagger,

I have some color pix of the carbon fibre seat on my 05 if would like to see it...in fact someone tell me how to put it into a post....and yes you can buy it from Jeff at Sportbike Effects cheaper than you can buy it from Sargent!
