Pulled the trigger on a Redverz Series II Expedition tent. Can't wait to set it up and check it out. Really can't wait to take it camping. I see some fall camping weekends in my future!

I think Im going to try camping one more time this year. My weekends are kinda full for the next month or so. Probably stay close to home, maybe south Ind.

Is that the tent with the little garage built in?

We finally dropped out of the 100's. Looking forward to taking my 3 year old son on his first camping adventure. Won't be on the bike but it'll be a blast!

I envy you Bro... my hopes are you and the munchkin enjoy it like no tomorrow! I'd bet he'll be so wide eyed there won't be any sleep for anyone! I love the outdoors :)

You are going to spoil that bike. Next thing you know she'll be demanding fresh oil every few thousand miles and wax every month.

With some of the weather we have camped in I like the idea of having a sitting area out of the elements. The bike may not be spoiled, but I will be! <_<

But what was wrong with your other tent, apart from a few leaks? ;)

I was pretty impressed with the Redverz...it packs fairly small considering how large it is.

What's wrong with a tarp...

Nothing. As long as Hogan isn't hanging it.

I needed a new tent, though, so I got what i wanted.

Ya'll wait until your kids are three before taking them camping? I believe my son was about seven months when he first went. We lashed a pole between two trees and hung his "Johnny Jumper" there. That was when he first tasted pine needles. I was nervous though when he woke up hungry and squalling at 4 a.m. I figured every bear within five miles was hearing food.

And my sister took her daughter camping when the baby was 10 days old ... but we let them use our hard-side camp trailer that time.

Nah, just figured this'd be the earliest that I figured would enjoyable. Especially since after my wife's first camping trip, she announced that it was her last camping trip. Camping alone with a six month old just isn't fun. :D

So, how big is this "vestibule". Will we have problems shoving all us campers into it to drink & play cards?

Got home and set her up.
