New uses for permatex weatherstrip adhesive

Don't try this at home.....

I decided to drag the Suzuki Intruder out of the garage and sparkle it up the other day in preperation for sale. While chatting with my tenant I squeezed a big gob of what I thought was Simichrome polish onto a rag and was just about to start polishing the wheels when Bob says "since when does Permatex make polishing compound?" :blink:

Turns out I was just about to shmeer Permatex weatherstrip adhesive onto the spoked wheels! :lol: Time to break out the glasses.

Mike, that Preperation H packaging is way to similar to the Simichrome....The worst that could happen I guess is that you end up with the shiniest, itchiest moon on the block.
