Has anyone seen this?

So, lets see, if it really comes out in 2008, current generation VMAX will be... 24! <Ali G mode>RESPECT!</Ali G mode>

Almost a quarter century old! And still a wicked machine. Most impressive.

Interesting picture. Guess it's about time they make some signifacant changes. Hope they don't screw one thing up to improve another.

That's a pretty cool direction if indeed that's where Yamaha goes with the V-max. . .I'll be among the first in line to buy one if so. . .but only if they keep the V4 configuration, make those air scoops functional and stiffen the frame.

Looks like they are taking it in a cruiser direction, more so than sport.

My personal opinion is tha the best VMax is made by Hornady.

75 grain VMax in front of 30 grains of N-135 in a Lapua case get you about 3500 fps in a 27" 1:10 twist Lilja. I can touch prairie dogs easliy at 7oo yds.

The caliber? 6mmbr

sorry to tangent your thread... its just my passion :D

Hey 6mmbr,

Try the 6.5 Grendel for kicks! Less drop, less wind drift, much more downrange energy (more than a 308)......

As long as we are digressing....... :guns: :dead: :aaskull:
