Didn't watch that particular biography but the man was absolutely brilliant - more than a little crazy as well. Maybe that's a consequence of pure genius?

I'm still waiting for Nikola to beam wireless power to my house. Everything else he did seemed to work as expected. Another person that changed life for everyone in the world.

He was in the news around here quite a bit a few years back. The property where his lab and tower stood came up for sale and the company that owned it wanted its full commercial value from any developer interested. There was a scramble by preservationists to fund its purchase which for awhile there didn't look like it would happen but somehow it all came together. Every now again it's back in the news as they take new steps toward its rehabilitation.
