I have been monitoring this forum for a couple of years. I have been considering an FJR since they were introduced. Today I brought one home. 2009 FJR 1300, 26K miles, YES warranty until 2014, Bill Mayer seats, Helibar triple clamp risers, MCL hiway pegs, frame sliders, backrest, valves adjusted at 25K by Bobby J's Yamaha in Albuquerque where I bought it. After almost a year of riding with either a 19" or 21" front wheel this 17" wheel will take some getting used to. I am now looking for a source for a silver striping kit as I want to break up the solid black paint with a little color.
