I was just browsing some real estate websites looking for some vacation property in New Hampshire and ran across this. Somehow I always knew that having a black lab and 3 bikes would end up biting me in the ***.

"Privacy w/spectacular spectacular view of Lake Winnipesaukee. Beautiful sandy beach. Very tidy newer mobile home w/central air & wood burning stove. Large deck. Annual park rent $2,750.00 Park approval of sale req`d. No motorcycles or pets allowed."

Go ahead and just say it.....you mean Harleys don't you.....

They allow mobile homes, but not pets or bikes???

Hey, it's still a mobile home. You can still put a sofa on the porch and use a toilet as a flower pot. And as an added bonus: Full set of teeth not required.

As a resident of Cow Hampshahh I have some insight into what your real-estate restrictions are.

Laconia is indeed virtually on Lake Winnipesaukee. Starting on 6/12 30-50 thousand(!) Hardleys will come to town for 7 days. Lots of bare ****s, beer and blatting exhausts. Sometimes it takes the National Guard to help keep at least 25% of the laws and 1% of the peace. Kinda leaves a lingering memory for the residents.

If you are looking at a mobile home WITH a wood stove and deck you are in a high rent district. Not only will they restrict pets and bikes but there are other rules too. Usually they hold you to a maximum of 5 junk cars, of which no more than two may be in the front lawn. You are also restricted to a maximum of 3 junk refrigerators of which only one may be kept in the front lawn.

They restrict pets because they are trying to keep people from feeding the bears.

Never forget the license plate motto is: LIVE FREE OR DIE except for the afore mentioned restrictions.

You will love the area, it is very pretty all summer long (7/10 to 8/28) and the fall colors are some of the best in the country (10/2 to 10/4). There are hundreds of miles of well cared for snowmobile trails to enjoy too (10/16 to 5/31).

If you are coming up to this area drop me a line and I can show you some really nice rides up to Winnipesaukee. It is very pretty and there are some nice twisties on the way.

Just try taking your FJR into Lake Naciemento campground, Paso Robles CA. No motorcycles allowed.

Geez, and I was gonna open a waher/dryer storage lot in that very area. Another permit app shot to hell.
