Northern MN "Ride for the Troops"

Anybody located in or near north central MN, there is a second annual ride for the troops planned in Bemidji, MN for sunday June 10th. Market Place Foods is the meeting point at 9 am with a pancake breakfast then the ride will start at noon. Cost is $25 per bike plus $10 for 2 up. Maybe I'll see some of ya there.

Sounds like a cool event for a good cause.

I'd go if my nephew and nieces weren't in town this weekend.

Also saw your post about the BBQ events, and if there's going to be another this summer. Probably.

Well it was a beautiful day to do the ride. 80 degrees and sunny. I never heard an official count but my guesstimation would be approximately 200 bikes. There was also a new FJR with the bags off riding 2 up though I never got a chance to speak with them. Perhaps somebody here?

If I can figure out how to add pics I will.

Ok...ok...I was a bit off, 300 bikes raised over $17,000 for the Bemidji National Guard Unit serving in Iraq.
