Some of you may know that I totaled my ‘18 with 142k on the OD. So I purchased another ‘18 with 20k. After I picked up the bike and rode it home to Florida, I drove up to Iowa and grabbed some parts and farkles off the wrecked bike.
So I’ve been transferring and installing parts and farkles (In a hurry) to the new (To me) ‘18. I swapped fuel tanks to save drilling another tank (For aux tank) Today I needed some hardware and fuel. I rode to the gas station and quickly realized I forgot to switch locking caps on the tanks. I had to ride back home to get the old key. Lesson learned- haste makes waste.
