My one solid recommendation, if you like the sea or sailing, go to Lunenberg. The famous ship 'Bluenose' lives there, and there is a GREAT museum called 'The Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic (at waterfront), they also have one of the last sailing codfish boats on display, as well as some more modern craft. Took over 3 hours going stem to stern, just a wonderful place.

Many nice people & wonderful sights up there...

I was thinking about going back this year, but this year's trip will probably be Newfoundland instead. The Newfies are friendlier than anyone (according to our bed & breakfast hosts at Lunenberg), so, what the hey, why not ?

Your bed and breakfast host in Lunenberg wasn't lying when he/she told you that Newfies are friendlier than anyone. I should know because I'm one of them. Aside from the friendly people, you'll enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, good roads, and little traffic.

Feel free to contact me if you need any info, or check out this site.
