I just spent a week in Nova Scotia/Cape Breton on my 05 FJR. Beautiful everything, except the dealer in Halifax that would not sell be a new shield after I dropped my helmet! He only had one on a new helmet but wouldn't part with it. Anyway, the north was the best. I could have spent days in the National Park. Next year, we'll be back. Planning to go the next step to Newfoundland and Labrador. We'll be trailering the dual sports to Sydney and going from there. Where did you say you live? We may need a parking space for the trailer!! :D

Thats' great news to promote riding and show off this beautiful place to folks around the world. Should be a fun time!!!

As for your trailer Mitch, I live in Dartmouth ( Halifax area) and you can certainly park your trailer here at my house.

Mitch I, like Ken, live in Dartmouth. Not near Sydney unfortunately. I will put on my thinking cap though about a place to park in Cape Breton.

Ken you riding an FJR? I have only seen one other around here. A guy I talked to in Bedford a while ago. Maybe that was you?

Don't forget to include Prince Edward island in your plans.

Hi Gypsy,

<<<Ken you riding an FJR?>>>

I'd like to be but no, not yet anyways. I ride a cruiser right now that I'm trying to sell and likely get an FJR. The cruiser thing is not doing it for me any longer for several reasons. I test rode an ST1300 a little while back that impressed me, but I will not decide before I ride an FJR. Either case the cruiser gotta go first.

I also met a couple FJR owners, both at Arby's. One was from New Glasgow and the other locally.

I don't see many FJRs around here, especially where cruisers hang-out ( can't blame them). I know once mine is gone I don't foresee another one and I can't see myself riding for 20 minutes and parking for 3 hours like i do now.
