Alright guys, I think I found something pretty cool here! Instead of just going to a mini golf type place, I've booked us in at the Bandimere Speedway! :clapping:

You'll be racing on a real track, with full gear on and even a safety course first. There are no weight restrictions, so I've moved the 2 guys who were concerned up the definite list. We'll run 2 heats and there will be printouts of your laptimes. This will determine the final race and the winner!

Place: Action Karting at Bandimere Speedway!

Time: Thursday, July 24th at 6:30 pm. Please gather in the lobby area by 6 pm so we can all ride out together!

Cost: There is a 10% discount if you pay in cash! So the first 2 heats would be $36/person. Otherwise, credit/debit cards are $40/person. The final winners race will be $31.50 in cash or $35 for credit/debit card. Please pay consistently if you end up in 2 races.

We need to arrive early to fill out insurance waivers and get suited up. Racing will begin at 7 pm and we'll be done by 8:30 at the latest.

So! Whose in?

As I've stated before..............

Go ahead and send me my Championship trophy now. :yahoo:

I won't have room for such things like trophies, etc on the FJR. They might break.

UPS or mail. Whatever's easiest. :p

I'll be helping with the festivities on Thursday afternoon, but if it's Thursday evening, count me in!

OK, we're looking to do this on Thursday afternoon/evening. I need a show of hands as to who wants to take on Ari Rankum and toast some tires! I have a coupla different places in mind, but i need an idea of how many folks were talking about before I can call. You can roughly assume about $35 each time you race. At the place I'm going to call first, that gets you 10 laps and the prices decrease by $5 for each time you go again.
So! Whose in?
Wow! Thanks for setting this up so quickly, 'chik.

Before the usuals get all wound up about nickels and dimes and not getting enough allowance from your S.O.s, I want you all dig deep for gratitude as you ponder the schooling I'm going to give you ALL on the track, absolutely free.

Ahem!

I do not see my name on the list. Is this an oversight? Do I REALLY have to say it? OK, I'M IN! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Give me a +1 as well.

Oooh, how long before you need a firm answer? I'll need to shuffle my schedule to get there a day earlier and that partly depends on my wife's schedule.

Put me as a maybe for now, please.

And, of course, I won't join in the trash talking because winners don't need to.

If it is late Thursday, count on Pegscraper taking the Checkered Flag :bike: and a kiss :kiss2: from the Trophy Girl, MsNASCAR  who will finish second. Unless she spins me out like Kyle :****: Busch likes to do.

Count us in.

Count me as a driver. Look forward to see if my trackdays on the bike will translate to the carts.
Excellent, Dave!

You'll have top start watching NASCAR and learn the techniques how drivers push their competitors into the wall! You could leave a wake of destruction on your way to that trophy!
