Sorry to bring up an old recurring thread, but I never heard anyone mention this one...

Ford Motorcraft Brand

Part number FL2007

Fits perfectly

Grey in color (matches the engine near prefect, for those of you who care)

Excellent rating on filtration quality

About 6-8 bucks depending on which dealer you call.

My favorite feature: Motorcraft filters include an internal anti-drainback valve which keeps your engine oiling system primed for the next start up. Remember the old Castrol commercials: "90% of engine wear occurs at startup". Well, you'd better believe it. With the anti-drainback valve, less time goes by before the engine gets lubrication immediately after start-up.

My $.02

Most filters do-it's not the brand but the oe requirement that dictates whether it has one or not.
