Ok Lets Try This again, 2016 Models

I just posted a thread about this and it went straight to NERPT, I kind of see why, But... I almost didn't post it because it has been discussed over and over about what the 2016 FJR would be like... This was NOT my question. I guess people just read what they want to read...

My Question was: Just wondering why all of the other Yamaha '16 models are out except the FJR? I'm not wondering what color it will be, or if it will have a 6 speed tranny, or how much it will be, or any thing about it.

I was just wondering why it is not even in the 2016 lineup? Does it have such a following that Yamaha want's to hold off for an dramatic unveiling? NO, it doesn't. Maybe this is something only Yamaha can answer.

If this, specifically, has been discussed then sent this to NERPT (or delete) also and point me to that thread and I apologize for wasting the space.

What's the big deal if a topic is NEPRT or not? We have done some of our best mental masturbation in that category. Right now there are no facts, no information, no explanation and no marketing 'teases' from Yamaha. There is some informed speculation in the already open thread about the current vaporware FRJ. Sometimes it's marketing, sometimes engineering didn't hit the dead line. The V-Max has often had release dates which have been offset from the rest of Yamaha and Star, call it a dramatic pause

Another rumor floating around is that there was a 2016 FJR on display in Milan recently. It was Black and appeared to be essentially the same as the 13-15 models. Being Black means not much since we don't know if it was a European, CA, US or some other model. It did appear to have the heretofore optional foot guards mounted.

Glad to be here with all the cool kids. The information is accurate, the date is probably optomistic (I do have a scale on just how optomistic but I've been sworn to secrecy).
