Buggered if I can find the thread about drafting trucks to add this to.

Whilst driving my van today I spotted in the right hand mirror a yellow Triumph Daytona approaching on my outside. I was in the centre lane of 3. He got close to the van and as I waited for him to pass, he moved back directly behind me. I then didnt know what his intentions were. We were approaching a junction with a filter lane to the left and I knew he was there somewhere but not where exactly. I asume he decided he 'might' take the filter. He re-appeared on my left and came half way down the length of the van. I adjusted my position to give him maximum room, looked again and the stupid tosser had braked and gone back behind me. He then pulled out to my right and overtook.

He was a mature guy maybe in his late 40's from what I could see of his face. I was probably more angry than I would have been had I not been a biker. It's no wonder there are so many accidents when plonkers like him are around.

I believe tosser has something to do with salad or something......

Ahhh, every forum needs a resident Limey, for language diversity if nothing else.... :p And feejer, there are many here who would echo your sentiments.

I try to be more aware of bikers when I'm driving a car or truck, but if they want to be stupid there's only so much you can do. :dntknw:

if you are passed they are crazy,

if they are slow they are bluehairs....

it all depends on your perspective.

That would piss me off too. You're trying to help the *****, I mean bloody ******, out and he stays in your blind spot.

A BLUE HAIR is an old person who has gone beyond grey hair. It's the next level on the stairway to heaven.( Everybody sing) :guitar:

Here in the states blue hairs are seen driving big cars, Cadi's, Buicks, Crown Vic's and the like. From the rear of the car all you see is a little puff of blue above the head rest, and maybe some fingers gripping the top of the steering wheel. If your not driving a tank, one should avoid being near these types. :scare:

Tosser

1) Literally, one who masturbates. Common usage typically refers to anyone of whom you have a low opinion.

2) English insult. Implies that the person masturbates excessively. Also see ******.

******

1) a bloke who whacks off alot.

2) a term of endearment...an insult that's actually a kind of compliment

3) a total insult

Plonker

1) dope, *****, moron, wally, pillock, dunderhead, dimwit

2) A stupid person

3) A *****

:D

Edit - I see E H beat me too it whilst posting.

Seems English insults center around meat management. Crikey!
A common phrase here if someone is suspected of havving you on is ''are you pulling my plonker?'' meaning pulling my ****. My understanding of plonker therefore is a *****..............................................................................why am I talking about this crap? :p

Whats a bluehair?
The bluehair equates to the little old couple who go out for a drive in the country on a Sunday afternoon. He always wears a flat cap, that just peeks over the top of the driver's seat. Driving pace is extremely slow. Actions go beyond unpredictable, into the 'No F*ing way - he didn't just do that, did he?'

In Yorkshire, I remember these drivers as typically male but in CA they appear to be more often female.
