MY NAME IS ALICE SMITH AND I WAS SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH A NEW DENTIST I NOTICED HIS DDS DIPLOMA, WHICH BORE HIS FULL NAME. SUDDENLY, I REMEMBERED A TALL, HANDSOME, DARK-HAIRED BOY WITH THE SAME NAME HAD BEEN IN MY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS SOME 30-ODD YEARS AGO.

COULD HE BE THE SAME GUY THAT I HAD A SECRET CRUSH ON, WAY BACK THEN?

UPON SEEING HIM, HOWEVER, I QUICKLY DISCARDED ANY SUCH THOUGHT. THIS BALDING, GRAY-HAIRED MAN WITH THE DEEPLY LINED FACE WAS WAY TOO OLD TO HAVE BEEN MY CLASSMATE.

AFTER HE EXAMINED MY TEETH, I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD ATTENDED MORGAN PARK HIGH SCHOOL . 'YES. YES, I DID... I'M A MUSTANG,' HE GLEAMED WITH PRIDE. 'WHEN DID YOU GRADUATE?' I ASKED. HE ANSWERED , 'IN 1975. WHY DO YOU ASK? ' 'YOU WERE IN MY CLASS!', I EXCLAIMED.

HE LOOKED AT ME CLOSELY. THEN, THAT UGLY, OLD, BALD, WRINKLED, FAT ***, GRAY-HAIRED, DECREPIT, SON-OF-A-***** ASKED.

"WHAT DID YOU TEACH ??? "

Yes, hear you loud and clear El Grande Dane: Getting old isn't for sissies! Luckily, Bust looks worse than us and he's younger!

:****: :****:

It's the damn cold weather and tending to the livestock that aged me. ;)

I guess I better rummage through stuff and find a pretty picture for ya.

Gosh I feel young. :blum: Class of '77

:jester:

'75 for me too. Not that there's anything wrong with that..
I'm happy I can still remember that far back.
Hell I remember '63, the year I graduated. It's the 70s I don't remember so good. But I remember 69. And several other things I used to be able to do.

And Rich, I turned 17 the week of my H. S. Senior Ball--it was the first thing I could ever legally drive to at night. :)

back when, the cut off for school was Dec 31st and birthday is Dec 6 '58

I was of the youngest in my classes...Dec Freshman year of college was 18 for moi <sigh>

Navy ROTC kinda made my unlegal age null and void though :clapping: and in Nawlins' with drive thru Daqueri shops...

What about those of us who never graduated from high school? I didn't and I don't think Fairlaner would have done either. Can I brag about being in the Class of 2000 instead? when I finished nursing school.
