Need a pair of fork legs to send to KFG/Racetech, etc. for upgrade. High mileage OK but, must be undamaged and rebuildable.

And this time, if anybody else out there is interested in purchasing same please have the common courtesy to start your own thread rather than hijacking mine.

No kidding. I wasn't going to say anything, but I was like WTF? I was waiting for you to go off on the offender.

No need Greg. Six and half decades have taught me great respect for the Karma. Sneaky little creeps who try to get through life by getting over on others eventually get a little too cute and end up ******* themselves bloody.

Extrememarine felt rather badly about the whole thing. When he got a PM offering to buy, he quite naturally assumed it was me. So he went ahead and consummated the deal. By the time he found it wasn’t me it was too late for him to back out.

Hey AKjitsu, When I asked EM about the price I also posted it in his thread of parting out his 09, the fact he mistook me for you is not my falt and I did not try to fool him to think I was you so you calling me a " Sneaky little creeps who try to get through life by getting over on others eventually get a little too cute and end up ******* themselves bloody." is ******* bulllshit, I did not pretend to be you and when EM sent me a PM for the sale he posted that he has not heard from you. so if your going to be ******* pissed off at anyone it should be EM not me.

I was a little confused on the other thread myself, At glance (with these old eyes) the nicks looked quite similar.

Sorry it went down that way ;(

Wow, panty's in a bunch???

Several of us tried to steer you to EM's thread and you took your sweet time getting there. I even gave you a link to EM's thread so you could ask him over there.

Ahchiu did you the courtesy of asking the obvious question of how much EM wanted for the forks. The next day Ahchiu asked how much in EM's thread and EM responded to Ahchiu over in the his thread first. Ahchui waited for a full day before asking him. You had over 24 hours to act on the forks. You failed to do so. Now you want blame someone else for buying them. WTF??? I know at least three others on this forum currently looking for gen II forks too.

Look in the mirror before you start throw trashing people, especially someone who has been here a hell of a lot longer than you and helped a lot of people with issues on their bikes. Snooze you lose, but don't cry about it...

S'ok, Richard. We would have let you borrow them.

Seriously, AKJitsu, you'll find there is quite a bit of honor around here. EM has been parting his bike out for a long time now, probably over a month, and even I have missed out on a few bits from others that got there first. If he's got a firm offer, he's entitled to lock in his deal with the buyer he feels is going to proceed with a sale.

If you intend on buying something, act as quickly as you can, don't waste much time, and if you miss out, well....there'll be another set to go around, just give it time.

I think the only time there's no honor among thieves is when someone's selling a Corbin smuggler. Then everyone's a damn pirate.

By the way, you'll note that Achiu (and I) have purchased EM's spares not to line our own garage but to stock up for the good of the PNW crew and fellow forum members. If someone find hisself in a bind, watch when this forum comes out of the woodwork to help out. It's that karma thing you've been going on about, and it's quite alive and kicking in the PNW and elsewhere (Louisiana, most recently).

What a complete load of utter ********.

I don't care about all the particulars. Perhaps one could have done this faster than another, and for sure, those forks didn't belong to anybody until they were sold. But I don't care what you say, expressing interest in purchasing something IN SOMEBODY ELSE'S 'WANTED TO BUY' THREAD IS JUST PLAIN WRONG. Period. The 'issue' isn't who eventually bought the forks, the issue is courtesy and manners.

And you are smart enough to know that.

As for you Fairlaner.......... **** you.

Boy I love it around here sometimes.

I wholeheartedly agree!

As admins try to steer clear of interfering in commerce threads and tend to leave it to forum members to sort it. I raised my eyebrows on the original thread, but let it go. However, to post up yet again in another thread the OP has asked nicely to not interfere with is beyond uncool Ahchiu.

Here's the way forward though. I'm going to lock this thread and ask AKJitsu nicely to please start a third fresh thread. We'll ALL commit to leave that thread unmolested...and ahchiu will not post in it for any reason.

If ahchiu or AKJitsu have any issue with that--they can take it up with me via PM.

Thanks for keeping commerce threads free of future drama.
