When I first joined the forum, I mentioned her. Please read this:<Link>

You guys would be very lucky to ever have someone like Grandma Fae in your life. I'm going to miss her.

Fae was not my grandmother, but I always called her Grandma Fae. We ended up loving each other because we cared about the same people. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her attention. Her daughter and her grand daughters became a focal point for me.

She used to tell her daughter, "He's the best thing that's ever happened to you." Believe me a marriage is just a little easier when your mother-in-law adores you.

Sixteen years ago we added a third grandchild for Fae. They all miss her terribly... and so do I

Joe, thoughts to you and your family that the pain of the loss will subside as the memories of Fae remain. What a great gift you gave her with that ride!

Deepest condolences Joe. You already know how much enriched life's touched by Fae were. Hope y'all can take some comfort in knowing that she was surrounded by a family that reciprocated. I know she would agree.

Very sorry to hear about your mother-n-law. Blessing and peace to you, your wife and family.

I too can do no wrong with my mother-n-law and joking call myself “saint troy” because my wife cannot get any satisfaction when she tries to complain to her mother about me.

She was blessed with a great life as were you by her presence. Keep that thought close as you move forward.
