I am/was considering the Mag 2200t so I found the thread interesting.
One thing that I didn't care for from Magellan is that I tried to call their customer service/tech line for a few questions and I couldn't get through-their call routing finally stopped and disconnected the call.
When I contacted Garmin, I was able to get the info I was looking for. For this, it has me leaning towards Garmin for when I actually have a gps unit and need assistance, I have a better feeling there will be a helping hand!
