Interesting read. More new riders (regardless of age) = more accidents and deaths.

I guess the answer is to forcibly move more riders into New Hampshire to save lives. Simple! :clapping:

No. Plenty of riders here already. Most of them helmetless and riding on croozers.

It's actually much more crowded here than many (most?) folks think...

No. I don't have that sticker. I just want 'em to leave.

Not really, I love all my fellows from the beautiful south-lands of MA and CT. It's all good. C'mon up and visit us up here. Make sure to stop at the state liquor store at each border and stock up on cheap booze. Also, you should try to go as fast as possible onb the more populated interstates. We have a minimalist gub'mint up here and could really use your donations.

Not as crazy as those freaks over in VT mind ya', but we're looking for you... to come visit I mean. Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket. Come visit

I agree that the number of new riders is a factor but I also think that the power of the bikes is a factor as well. When I had a bike back in 1980 it had 650 cc and everyone thought it was a big machine. It didn't have anti lock brakes and the tire technology was not in the same league. I didn't push it that hard.

Fast forward to today and we are riding 145 hp rockets with the goal (mine anyway) of going a little faster every time.

Then again it may just be all those damn kids on the crotch rockets.
