I have an original black Buddy Belt I no longer need. It is a thick multi-layer nylon belt size medium and rigid. Has two grab handles for passenger to hold onto. I have 36" waist but it fit when I was down to 34 and up to 38-40 as well.
Also adjusts with velcro and has a heavy duty plastic buckle. Company no longer in business but similar products are $80.
