That is one lucky dood in that he didn't have a neck fracture or rib puncturing his lung.

I've always wondered how I would handle a situation like that, assuming of course that I was still able bodied in the immediate aftermath. I'm pretty sure I'd come up swinging, cussing, and pretty much making an ass of myself.
