Well since two of the three bikes in our party were FJRs, I figured I'd post my ride report here! 7 days, 2000 miles from MA to VA. Great time!

Linky

Lotsa pics. :)

Hey, look at that! Another sista' FJR rider. Ask your girl how she keeps her hair looking so spiffy. I myself normally have locks of light brown matted to my head once helmet removal happens. Also, if I don't tie it back in two places (one at top & one at bottom) I have one huge wind blow knot.

If you might consider another trip to explore, Take a look at the Eastern Owners Meeting next month. Click on this link for more information.

Thanks for the story. Looks like you had fun.

You FJR-riding ladies are a rare breed indeed! Do you get slack-jawed stares everywhere you go like Faith does? I swear, wherever she goes on that bike people gawk at her like she's an alien or something. Kinda weirds her out.

I guess she's just lucky with her hair... sometimes it does become a bit snarled, but she either braids it or puts it in a simple ponytail when riding and she doesn't seem to have much trouble with it.

The ZZR is my touring bike. And it's faster than the FJR anyway. ;)

Yes, I do get the slack-jawed looks. A lot of people will tell me that I've got a nice bike... am I riding on it alone, as if I should be riding ***** w/ someone. Or comments about that girl on the big crotch rocket. That's a favorite... yes, my crotch rocket w/ adjustable windshield & luggage!

Please tell Faith how truly lucky that she is concerning her hair.
