One of my customers recently sold her property in East Hampton, NY for 103 million clams, evidently the highest price paid for a residential property in US history. The stipulation of the sale was that she would take the 10 historical buildings she had collected and moved to her property over the last decade or so and give them to the town for use as our new town hall. She even picked up the tab to have them all moved to the site!....People are so nice. Since 2% of any sale over 250K around here goes into a land preservation fund, the town also realized 2 million dollars from the deal. I wish I had some pics of the actual move because it was quite a sight but here are a few of the actual buildings with about 3 or 4 of them missing.
Check out some of the other stuff the THESE GUYS have moved. The one marked largest house is a new house that is being built and the owner decided that he didn't like it that close to the road  .
