OWNERS OF DELIVERED 06'S

hello all, I take it that your bikes that have been delivered had a march date when everyone was checking with their dealers a couple of weeks ago. My dealer said Yamaha told him that all bikes that had a march date would be delivered by march 10th,then the april bikes would start to be delivered. My question is to you is what date did your confirmation number have on it ? (date dealer actually sent it in) I ask because my conf. date was OCT. 6TH and if april bikes start to get delivered ,i would like to know if I'm getting passed by so I can do some ragging. You can check HMarc's sample list of confirm dates, delivery dates, VIN, etc.

at HMarc's excellent FJR order /delivery list

Sort of gives you an idea of where you stand. You can also add your data to this list! Great fun and gnashing of waiters teeth.

I was thinking the same.. The people that have received their bikes, were you all April waiters? I ordered mine on October 25, and currently just have a "April" delivery date.

Looking at the list of waiters on HMarcs great site, I may be wrong but there seems to be some discreation to the time of orders and state locations vs. deliveries. I'm thinking there are several variables as why this is happening. Being involved in the trucking industry past years, this is understandable. For example, I talked to my dealer just a week ago and the company he had been doing business for many years delivering his bikes had went out of business and he was scrambling to get all the info on how he was going to get bikes period into his store. I'm not on the in to Yamaha's system but patience seems to be the key ingrediant here as the FJR's are rolling in to the dealers. Personally I'll get mine when it comes in, hopefully. All this bad weather here has diffiently helped ease the pain of waiting. PM. <><
