Oxford heated grips

I read a post a few weeks ago that told which of the three Oxford Heated grips was the best choice for the FJR. Can someone help?

You want the premium adventure grips - they are 5.19" long. This link takes you to the touring grips - those are shorter 4.72".

They haven't an external controller,the controller is inside the left grip.

FWIW - Here is a link with pics of where I put the Oxford controller. It fits neatly on the left panel blank where the factory controller would go. Pictures are in post #14 (thanks to Mihalis fjr). I got the shorter grips on a clearance sale and made spacers to fill the 1/4" gap.

I installed the Oxford Premium Adventure grips on Dad's bike about a month ago. The Touring version is too short. There is actually a picture of a Gen2 FJR on the damned box but the grips will not work on the FJR.

The grips themselves are a wonderful comfort and control upgrade, they are slightly larger in diameter and much more textured and grippy. The heaters seem to work well. Pop had high praise for the entire package.
