In another post I told my wreck story and now I'm wondering if it would be cheap, but look just as good as new if professionally painted back to

original color? Has anyone done this. They are not cracked or deeply scratched, but look all scratched.

I have no idea how much it will cost to repaint, but I'm thinking it will be less then 1200 to replace.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Dave

PS. How do I get the crash logo? :)

I've earned it..LOL

Any competent body shop can repair and repaint the plastic parts. I had the right side mirror, fairing and case fixed for about $300. Gave the guy the proper paint codes and an extra piece of plastic for comparing the color match after completion. The results were perfect. Now I just have to remember to look for the roadside gravel before putting my foot down.
