Redbird!!
On a recent trip from NJ to VA, I discovered few things.
The seat is not comfortable for LD and it was hot!!
I was constantly standing up on the pegs to let up the pressure on my skinny butt and to air out my sweating bottom. (I mean, no padding here )
Since then I have bought the sheepskin 1" flat black - will try them next week. If that doesn't work, I may send the seat to Spencer for cushioning the spot for my sensitive organs (which get damn uncomfortable  when it's really hot.)
Also, I was trying to find a spot for my heels to wedge some where rearward ... the rear links between rider and passenger footpegs. There is a wedge spot, but now I am figuring a floorboard on the passenger footpeg location would be a good place to park my heels for some stretch & comfort. I have installed the wild bill hi-way pegs, that helped a bit with stretching my legs forward, but didn't really help with butt comfort ... in fact the pressure was higher.
Have installed floorboards? If so which ones did you get? I am looking for something in-expensive to try out to see if that helps.
We all know the difficult throttle issue and the vibes. I will be installing the G2, BMW grips, and also unwind the middle spring soon. Maybe add bar end weights!? Next up PCIII and mapping to smooth things ...
My vista cruise keeps on slipping and drops down in speed in ~10 secs, probably because the throttle spring tension.
I may have to raise the seat to next level up, but I am concerned about foot reach to pavement. No easy solution there.
