The Dealer I boiught from has 2- A's and 2 AE's ordered for the dealership ... he showed me my order on the screen along with those ... it doesn't have a delivery date listed yet ... maybe after the PDP period is over it will be updated ... I know I heard the dates are scheduled for March - July ... I'm hoping for the earlier

I got my 04, on April 10, 2004. My dealer had it in March.

I hope you fellas will get yours in the spring.

For us Texans, the best time to get our new FJRs will be July / August - that way we can test it out in HEAT B) B) !

Thanks fellers. Frankly, I don't like this PDP setup at all. Only reason I put up with it is there seems to be no viable alternative to the FJR. From all indications it is the best sport-tourer out there.And I need a new bike.Sooooo, I order, I wait. Captain Obvious, your "loud valves save lives" is a real hoot. Love it.

Frankly, I don't like this PDP setup at all.

The PDP has been discussed, cursed (and abused) to death, but Yep, everyone has to WAIT for a new FJR, even the dealers who order a few in their dog's name, etc. Those that claim they didn't have to wait really just made up their mind to purchase later once the shipments started coming ashore and they found a dealer who had, in effect, waited for them.

Generally, but not always, it pays to PDP order it yourself and negotiate in advance a better price than those dealers who *secretly* order and then sell on the floor.

yambone, yeah, I got an 06' 'A' the dealer ordered himself. Hope to get it sooner that way. I paid 12,249,plus he'll swap Avons for stock tires free,replace the windscreen with whatever I want ,free and 1st service is free. Got sliders at cost,he'll install at a discount. Seems decent to me. I know there's better deals out there,but what the heck. I forget risers,dammit. :erm:

You got a good deal! But were will your dealer get the sliders and widscreen for the '06??

I think it will take a while for the aftermarket folks to have them available, no.

petey,yeah, hopefully by the time the bike gets here, the aftermarket guys'll have that stuff available.If not, the dealer'll get it as it comes available.
