Warning - I'm going to get a tad sappy.....
In my younger years, I had respect for our veterans, but not as much appreciation. Without many family members who were/are serviceman, I used to think they looked at us like we owed them something. As I get a little older, I really appreciate the value of history. Now I realize that we really don't owe veterans anything.
We owe them EVERYTHING.
