Just an observation…

Here it is September 25, and scanning the hot topics on this forum there’s nary a thread about “What colour is the 2015 going to be?” or “I heard the 2015 is going to have….” or “How long until Yamaha announces the 2015 model?”

Do we take this lack of angst as evidence that the 2014 model (the red ES in particular) is almost the perfect bike? With the exception of a few who say things like “I don’t like red so I’d never upgrade from my Gen I,” that seems to be the perception around here.

Come on guys and gals… where’s the annual hand-wringing and teeth-gnashing? This is like Easter without the cream eggs - just doesn't seem right!

Would like ES - no doubt. But the 2013 will have to do until the GEN IV comes out.

Your scanning skills must have missed this thread that goes on for pages. It even has "2015" in the title and chock full of newby drama. Closing first duplicate of the season to let you hand-wring in the existing thread.
