Interesting luggage rack on the bike (flashlight holder and all)

There seem to be hoses on the right side in the photo - is the rack also a fuel cell or holder for one? If so, what's the capacity

The whole thing is a fuel cell that serves as a rack. I believe it's a Tanji.

Thats a Dean Tanji Fuel Cell. 4.9 Gallons to bring it up to the IBA max of 11.5.

To all, yea it is a Dean Tanji Fuel cell and lots of other uses like a rack, tiedown, flashlight holder, pouches can easily be attached. A very professional and well thought out unit by Dean. IIIRC, he designed it especially for the IB rally. Holds 4.8 gallons to add to the 6.6 bike tank so as not to exceed 11.4 gals.

Good idea to try to get CA 06FJRAE for my next one. thanks for the tip.

Also a grateful friend of Bill W.!!

AND Retired USAF I see on the screen??

Wow!! You can't be all bad. I thinks we should chat when I come thru your neck of the area. :yahoo:

I just applied for

FAQ

That's pronounced fah Q :D

I tried to get FAQ 2, but they deemed it "inappropriate"...go figure.

I had 04FJR13 on the "cliff diving" bike. Someone suggested that personalized plates are easier for people to remember whilst the "standard" plates are more anonymous. I haven't sen or felt the need to personalize the '05 plates. Then again, if I were to think up something clever. ;)
