My Cuz who is a Cheif in the Navy sent me this who will soon be in charge of the Army crew running this system. The bullet proof command module is located to the left of the Phalanx on the trailer where the crew operates the weapon. And doing it in the wacked out terrorists own backyard. This weapon is used mainly as a line of defense against incoming missles but can be used against aircraft or what ever might get its dandruff up. This system is also used on aircraft carriers and other warships. Thought you migh enjoy this. And turn it up....PM. <>< :gun: Phalanx CIWS (Closed In Weapons System)

Ok Mike, you asked for it. I'm sure there are those here, (Skyway), who could make us a mount for the FJR. This is more scaled down and can even get threatening sport bikes in the rear that might be trying to overtake you when your out on your favorite road....PM. <>< ;) ...FJR Mini Gun

painman...I don't know where you find these video's but they are awesome!....so do you think we can talk skyway into do a mount? ;) ....

Ahhhhhhhhhh............sweet memories.

Once upon a time, perhaps in a previous life, I just may have been the Gunnery Officer aboard one our nations fine ships. Having such an noble title  allowed me access to some cooool stuff.

Ain't much can compare to being only about 20' away from one these suckers as it's doing its 'thang'. Can you say LOUD? It wll get the adrenaline flowing and put a big ol **** eating grin on one's face.

If memory serves me.....that rig fires 20mm depleted uranium at 3000 rounds per minute, direct decendant of 'puff the magic dragon' used in Vietnam.

It's the same gun used in our fighters, M61a1 20mm. R2D2 w/ a hard on. The brits sure could've used it in the Falklands. Gotta love that sound, only cooler gun is the GAU-8, found on the A-10, sounds like the sky is tearing open!
