I'm in the middle of installing PHIDs per Warchild's instructions. I'm doing his exact setup except no CUNT switch in the hope I have enough power to run it with Gerbings down the road (so to speak).
I think I have the wiring deciphered for my '05 FJR, but I'd love a confirmation check before I blow something up. I'm still fairly new to this. Here's what I've mapped out:
- 3-pin ignitor harness to ballast (each side)
- ballast power (both sides) to #3 post on Bosch relay
- fused battery power to #5 relay post
- #1 relay post to #5 post on Carling double pole double throw rocker switch (had this one available-won't use other side)
- #2 relay post to ballast grounds and battery ground
- #6 switch post to 12v switched power (bus fused)
- #4 (high beam signal) and #7 (illumination) switch posts to yellow high beam wire behind headlight light relay
Does this sound right????????
