Photo's of the New 08

I know there have been a few people on this board that have gone to the Cycle World show and test rode the 08's so I am wondering where all the photo's are? I cant believe no one has any sneak peaks of the bike, besides what you see on the Yamaha webpage. What's up? I have been browsing this forum every day for months and nothing. I am going to the Long Beach Ca. show on Dec 8th and I guarantee I will be snapping and posting lots of photo's.

So if you have any 08 photo's please share. Stop hoarding them for yourself..... :clapping:

Have to admit I have never looked in that forum before. Excellent post and write up though for the 08. The other post I had seen before but the photo's weren't near as good as JB's. Can't wait till Dec 8th so I can go see and ride one for my first time.....

Yeah, I cant wait for the show next weekend here in Seattle. I have been calling around and havent found a dealer yet that has the 08 in stock...sure get a lot of "we'll make you a great deal on an 07" type responses when I ask about the 08's though.

I also want to see if they have fixed the "altitude sickness" issue I read about here...and if the "better drivability" just might include the upgrade CO settings..or if I still will need to do those myself....

And you are right...no Dealers have any idea when the 2008 will arrive...Gonna test ride a 2007 cherry today....at 35F...must be nuts

Could some of you guys going to show soon take a few pictures directly from the side? I'm hoping for a clear picture to confirm that the fairings are the same and shouldn't affect the use of 06-07 frame sliders.

Yeah, that shouldnt be a problem. I think I will be there next Sunday the 2nd...so check back in a week..

Agreed. There are really no noticeable changes from the 07...cept the color of course.

Well, that is the best pic I have of it and I dont remember either way, but it certainly looks silver from the pic. Sorry I cant be more specific then that...
