Bought last Thursday a 2009 BMW R1200GSA, has a few extras and 10,000 miles. I have already installed the Autocom, V1, GPS, Spot, XM ant, Bluesea, trunk, and hydro jug to it. Here's a few pic's..

Thanks Smitty

The ultimate Smittymobile so soon after you bought it. :clapping:

I have a hunch Smitty's gonna have this one for a long time.

So when's the next LD Rally?

Nice ride! Is the side luggage standard from mfg or extra $$$ ?

Recent Motorcycle Consumer News has an article comparing FJR, VFR1200 and Kawa C14 sport tourers. They then had a follow on article claiming the R1200GS was the best sport tourer! Those guys really gush over that bike.

Nice Smitty --- but that's an extra zero at the end of the mileage I hope
Woops, one two many zero.....

Luggage in factory bags..

Smitty

I'm confused. Is this the new bike, the new NEW bike, the old new bike or the newest old new bike? I think I'll just wait a couple months and check out the newest new bike...

Good luck Smitty. He looks nice.

I read that too. Andy sure does love his R1200GS. Claims it's the best bike he's ever had. It sure has slowed his progress in working through every bike ever built. I rather think this one's a keeper. That the claim of most GS owners.

Looks like a fine bike for a genteel BMW snob. Where's the kool-aid cup holder?

I always knew you were one of those BMW snob types.

I'm a sipper, not a drinker of the Kook-aid. . I have two Yamaha tank badges to cover up the BMW roundels.... My feelings are broken with your remarks Mr. Skooter.

That reminds me Skooterboy, hows the Dirty old whore treating you??

Smitty

But, didn't Mr. Smitty have one of these before? Jeesh, I need an scoring system to keep up with ol Smitty..
