Help Support Yamaha FJR Motorcycle Forum:

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.
You can't upload pictures from your computer to the Forum, you have to upload your pictures from your computer to an online picture sharing site such as Shutterfly or Photobucket. From the Forum you create a link to the photo sharing site with your pictures. The pictures that you want to share with us should not be bigger than 800 x 600 pixels or they will be too big to fit on the screen and too slow to load. The picture I've included in this post is 800 x 600 pixels.

When you are creating a post you use the "Insert Image" icon with the sun and horizon to create the photo link. I use Photobucket for some of my pictures, the link to Photobucket looks like this:

https://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d168/ion...s/Img_3487d.jpg

When you click on the Insert Image icon a script box opens up and you would paste this URL in the box. The script box will then add
img%20
to the end of the url telling the Forum software that your link is a picture. No spaces are allowed in the link, the reason you can see my link line is because I've added spaces to it for demonstration purposes. The whole line will end up looking like this:

https://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d168/ionbeam/FJR%20Travels/Img_3487d.jpg

Some sites like Photobucket already have the url formatted correctly so all you have to do is simply copy/paste from Photobucket and don't need to use the Insert Image icon. When the above url is wrapped in the tags it looks like this:

Looking forward to some pixs!

I use Photobucket as well. Works great for me. All you have to do is upload pics there, copy the direct link text and click the picture icon on the thread you are posting and paste the copied link into the pop up. Voila!.....My other toy....
